The “sand section” of Hermosa Beach offers the epitome of beach community living.  Located in between Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach, this small town offers a community feel unlike anything else.  With only one elementary school and one middle school, and with the entire city being 1.4 square miles it’s hard not to feel like you know just about everybody.

Homes in the sand section of Hermosa are never more than a few blocks from the beach and all are central to the wonderful downtown and pier plaza areas.  Hermosa Beach is becoming more high end luxury living all of the time, but still offers a bit more of a low-key, beach casual atmosphere than Manhattan Beach.
