One of the latest beachfront homes on the Manhattan Beach Strand is a classic….but enjoy while you can at a 1 bedroom home listed at $12,750,000 whether charming or not…..is definitely selling to develop the land.

It seems a forgone conclusion that nobody is going to pay $12,750,000 for a one bedroom home…..at over $11,000 a square foot!.   It will be interesting to see  whether someone will pay that premium price for the land.

The home was built in 1922 and still has that classic look but has been very updated.  You can definitely imagine it in an old black and white photo.  It’s certainly been upgraded and updated many times over and retains a very cool beach charm.  

We wish homes like this could remain and keep some of the original vibe, but expect to see another gigantic modern home in the years to come.
