November saw three beachfront homes or properties sell during the month which may be a nice sign for the many other home sellers on The Strand as it’s been a very slow market.
2722 The Strand was a very unique opportunity as it was beachfront corner double lot. The value was really in the land as the home was older and dated but the opportunity for a true legacy home wasn’t hard to see. The current home was a little over 6,000 feet (which in itself is a rarity) and the lot was slightly smaller than 7,000 square feet. According to the listing agent the lot size allowed for the build of an 11,500+ foot home which is just about impossible to replicate anywhere else…especially with the city no longer allowing lots to be combined.
