No Open Houses In Manhattan Beach and LA County….Yet

On Wednesday, May 12th, the California Department of Public Health posted updated guidance on showings and open houses to their website, allowing in-person open houses in many jurisdictions. However, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has NOT yet updated their guidance to allow in-person open houses.  There are still some open houses “by appointment” but they’re still a bit more of a challenge.

This means that in-person open houses are NOT allowed in Los Angeles County until the county guidance which supersedes state guidance, is updated to reflect this change.

We will notify you of any updates.

SBAOR, along with other local civic and trade organizations, are in constant communication with the county and are working hard to get county guidance updated to come in line with the state’s May 12th update allowing open houses. While we anticipate that changes will be made soon, no changes have yet been made at the county level to allow open houses.
