March 2021 Real Estate Recap – Manhattan Beach Home Sales By the Numbers

It was another huge month in the Manhattan Beach real estate market during March 2021.  There were 42 homes sold in this coastal community compared with 25 in March of 2020.  In addition 53 homes went into escrow durring the month.  The median sales price was an impressive $3,448,000.

February was yet another great month for home sales in Manhattan Beach with 27 homes selling during the month.  Historically that was a bit low but higher than the 22 from a year earlier.  The median sals price was $3,211,000 and the average days on market was 53.    Take a look at the homes that sold and the house prices in February.

The median “list” price of $2,899,000 and a median “sold” price of $3,075,000 indicating that the very favorable market for sellers continues to steam ahead. January Property Sales and Home Prices in Manhattan Beach

Take a look at the homes that sold in the coastal community of Manhattan Beach during the first month of 2021.  It was a pretty solid, although slower, month especially given that December is often a down month for homes going into escrow.  There were 18 property sales in Manhattan Beach during January.  The median “list” price was $3,347,500 with the median “sold” price at $3,382,500 indicating a very solid “seller’s” market. The median price per foot of the homes that sold was $1,541. See how January home prices compare with previous months on our Manhattan Beach real estate trends and statistics page.

The biggest sale of the month, by far, was the beachfront corner lot at 1920 The Strand that sold for $16,250,000.
