If you happen to be a home buyer looking for a beachfront home in Manhattan Beach, there’s never been a wider array of possibilities than there are now. Each week seems to see another home hitting this high value market.

The latest home is located at 2508 The Strand. It’s a 4 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath single family home with approximately 4,554 square feet on a standard 3,500+ foot lot. It gets a little bit of extra traffic in an around it due to the parking lots at nearby Bruce’s Beach but overall the location is excellent as it’s fairly close to downtown but slightly closer for commuters. It’s a very unique home and per the listing description “Distinctively designed by Giorgio Dazzan and Associates, the home is a blend of curvilinear shapes and sleek finish detail that create interest and intrigue throughout.” It was built in 2009 and is priced at $12,900,000.

Big Sale in August – Beachfront Duplex on the Strand in Manhattan Beach Closes at $14,500,000

We don’t have many details on the buyer or their intentions but this is definitely the home sale of the month in Manhattan Beach. What it really likely a land sale, the beachfront duplex at 516 and 518 The Strand closed in August for $14,500,000. This one is all about the location as the south Manhattan Beach sand section location is about as good as you get.

Big Sale on the Strand – Beachfront Home at 2722 The Strand Goes Into Escrow

Beachfront Strand homes don’t generally move quickly so it’s big news when something goes into escrow or sells. 2722 The Strand is definitely big news as it’s one of the most expensive listings ever.

Priced at $22,750,000 the home at 2722 The Strand sits on a double lot in a great mid sand section location with massive and unblockable 180 degree views.  The current home was built in 1951.  It’s certainly been upgraded through the years but still quite dated and as of this post we’re not sure the buyers intention to remodel or completely rebuid.  The current home offers 8 bedrooms, 9 baths and over 6,000 square feet.    As with many homes along the Strand 2722 has been on an off the market for years.  It was originally listed in 2015 for $28,500,000 and went through a number of agents and price reductions last being at $22,750,000 in December of 2019.  It was pulled off of the market and just recently reappeared as on market and in escrow.  We’ll update the details as we have them.
