The numbers are in and June 2016 was a big month in terms of both the number of homes sold and the prices. Home prices were up year over year in every South Bay city other than Manhattan Beach which was a bit of an anomaly. Manhattan Beach saw 42 homes sell which is higher than previous months, but the median home price of $1,865,000 was dramatically lower than the previous year. One month of information in a city the size of Manhattan doesn’t indicate much, but it does indicate a slower market at the higher end.
