Big Number and Big Home in the Trees – 559 31st Street Hits the Market at $6,195,000

The newest addition to the Manhattan Beach tree section is a 2019 built high end single family home located at 559 31st St.  The home was disigned by Mark Trotter and built by Icaza Construction and offers 6 bedrooms all with en suite baths,  office,  8 total bathrooms, and a private guest suite over the garage.  The home is immense with just under 5,000 square feet on 3 levels including a massive entertainers basement level.  The asking price is pretty significant at $6,195,000 and this would make it one of the highest priced (non ocean view) homes ever to sell in the tree section.  The home sold new in 2019 for $5,200,000. It’s a beautiful home with a great gas light neighborhood location but it will have to be seen if the market will support the $6.2M price.  As there’s nothing comparable on the market it may just be the perfect fit for someone willing to chase it.

528 15th Street – The Highest Priced Sale in the Tree Section in 2020

While this area is technically in the Manhattan Beach tree section it’s really more comparable to the sand section as it’s just east of downtown and many of the homes offer big views (unlike the majority of tree section homes)

The single family home at 528 15th St was the highest on market home sale of 2020 in the tree section of Manhattan Beach.  This was a beautiful single family homes with 6 bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths and almost 6,500 square feet on a oversized 6,200+ squarefoot ocean view lot.  It was originally listed at just under $10,000,000 and closed at $8,215,000.
